I’m an award-winning creative director and copywriter with over 15 years of experience. I’ve led accounts and pitches. Managed creative teams. Presented to Fortune 50 CMOs. But I’ve never relinquished my pencil.

I’ve created work for more than 20 different brands – everything from beer to basketball to a basketball video game. And I’ve never shied away from the challenges of a technically complex business either, be it cybersecurity or exchange traded funds.

At DDB SF, I served as the Global Creative Director for the iShares business. I helped develop (and police) the brand tone, co-wrote creative briefs and led the charge for three global regions. I also penned their first commercial film in well over a decade, which was awarded for both creative effectiveness and craft.

At Grey NY, I helped run the global Gillette brand by leading the Men’s Personal Care (deodorant) business. My partner and I created a unique brand of humor for the work that was designed to set it apart from Procter & Gamble’s Old Spice brand.

These days, when I’m not freelancing or playing tennis, I teach in the School of Communications at the University of Miami. I used to be an attorney but that’s a story for another day…
